How It Works

Curtain fullness (the ratio of fabric width to window width) determines how gathered your curtains look. Standard fullness is 2x the window width. Allow 4 inches for the header/casing at the top and 8 inches for a doubled bottom hem. Home decor fabric is typically 54 inches wide, so wider windows require seaming multiple fabric widths per panel.
